Momentum: Breaking free of your BAD habits

momentumJust Start!!“…easier said then done, trust me I know!! Potato chips, brownies, pizza, fries are begging to get in your belly. The couch has imprints of your body laying comfortably on it, nestled in a warm cocoon. There’s some vapid, thoughtless program on TV that numbs the brain of all the stress and anxiety of the day. So there you lay, binging, numb, warm and Overweight!  How did it get to this? It’s apparent that the weight of  life took a hold of you and stuck. You’re in a fight to release the dead weight, although most days it’s a comfortable companion. Other days, it’s dragging you down, and you want to break free!

So have you started? It’s 2 weeks past the new year, what actions have you taken, what plans have you put in place?  Reality Check: You are a prisoner to the weight! Take a few steps, notice the weight of the shackles restraining you. Are you really happy? Does your outer shell reflect your inner feelings, sad, depressed, feelings of loneliness? We try to hide our pain to the world but it always manifests in different ways. The laughter is a mask, the smile is fake, you’re hurt. Deep inner reflection is necessary to find the real reason behind the self-sabotage. Whatever is bothering you, face it, deal with it, fight it! Meditate on Health!

Just start!! “Okay what does that mean?” One day…is TODAY! Get off the couch and move! Walk, run, skip, jump, move more. Continue to move, day after day, soon the weight will  become lighter. Soon the links will begin to break as you apply pressure. Gradually, love will be found in the process. Meditation+Momentum are the keys to unlock the bond of captivity. Visualize your future self with such clarity, that your reflection is your vision! Continue on this freedom journey to realize your goal, focus on health and establishing  healthy habits.  Align your food choices with your vision, move to the beat of your determination.

None of this is easy, there is great resistance against you, but take ACTION, the  momentum will carry you forward. Once you see small results, you’re hooked! Your spirit lifts, your smile becomes genuine; for once you’ve prioritized yourself! Replace sadness and depression with self-love and drive! The journey of well-being will change the way you think, look and feel! Be free! Live happy! Start today!
